UK first press 1975.
From 1975, the one with Peter Sellers randomly showing up on spoons (yes, really). By this point Steeleye Span had perfected their electric folk sound — tight harmonies, chunky riffs, and old songs given new bite. It’s both trad and theatrical, with enough grit to stop it drifting into novelty. FFO: folk music that isn’t afraid of distortion, Monty Python with a mandolin, and the strange joy of hearing spoons played like a weapon.
