UK first press 1975. Record plays great with minor mark. Sleeve has some discolouration. Works written on inner sleeve but in great condition.
So good it’s worth mentioning twice. Released in 1975, it’s Floyd at their most elegiac - a meditation on absence, friendship, and the ghost of Syd Barrett. The opening and closing Shine On You Crazy Diamond movements are pure majesty, while Welcome to the Machine and Have a Cigar drip with industry cynicism. The title track remains one of the most universally beloved songs ever pressed to wax.
FFO: cigarette smoke curling in a control room, prog that knows how to cry, and albums you never skip a track on.
