Big chiming guitars, drums that feel like they’re pushing you forward whether you’re ready or not, and that slightly yearning vocal that defined late 80s indie when it still felt hopeful instead of ironic. The extended version just stretches the shimmer out a bit longer, more echo, more atmosphere, more of that windswept drama they did so well.
