The blueprint. 1994, and Underworld fully rebooted into the shape we now know—bleary-eyed stream-of-consciousness lyrics, stadium-sized synths, and that particular brand of psychedelic, late-night propulsion. “Mmm Skyscraper I Love You,” “Cowgirl,” “Dirty Epic”… all here, all essential. Still sounds like a city at 3am. OG pressings are hen’s teeth—most folks grabbed the reissue, but if this is a clean first press, grab it while you can.
