Their fifth album, and maybe their most refined. Still grayscale, still submerged, but there’s a new clarity here—beats with a bit more swagger, melodies that flicker with something almost human. Opener “Strake” sets the tone: granular static, slow-motion pulse, and that sense of drifting through fog. “Halyard” and “Crowhurst” are brittle and windswept, while “Koepcke” and “Rime” stretch into near-stillness. It’s ambient dub for overcast days, somewhere between early Autechre and Vladislav Delay, but more organic. Released April 25, 2025, on n5MD—clear smoke vinyl, already getting scarce.
