Smote pour another pint of pagan psych with Songs from the Free House, a woozy trip through drone, folk, and fuzzed-out ritual jams. It’s earthy and hypnotic - like Fairport Convention stumbled into a krautrock session and forgot to stop recording. Fiddles, flutes, and riffs all circle each other in a hazy pub séance that feels both ancient and slightly pissed. Proper wyrd northern energy and easily one of their best yet.
