Despite the name, Skullcrusher is still out here breaking hearts, not skulls. And Your Song Is Like a Circle floats somewhere between folk and dream pop - all hushed vocals, fingerpicked guitars, and that weird ache you get when something’s beautiful and a bit sad at the same time. It’s intimate without being twee, with arrangements that shimmer like light through curtains. The kind of record that makes you stare at the ceiling and reevaluate your life choices, in a good way.
