Miles Kane swaps the mod suits for something a bit looser on Sunlight In The Shadows. Produced with that warm, vintage Easy Eye touch, it’s got shades of 70s soul, glam shimmer, and dusty groove running through it. He still can’t resist a strut or two, but there’s more heart here than swagger - the sound of someone easing off the gas and actually enjoying the ride. Proper grown-up rock’n’roll with sunlight sneaking through the blinds.
