The Maccabees’ debut Colour It In back on vinyl, and it still bursts out of the speakers like a sugar rush. Sharp, hooky indie full of jittery guitars, clever turns of phrase and choruses that stick in your head for weeks. The sound of mid-2000s UK indie at its most charming, before they went widescreen on later records. Pure nostalgia, but still class fun.
