Big cinematic collab from Icelandic modern classical don Ólafur Arnalds and Irish alt-pop vocalist Talos. A slow-burning, richly textured EP that fuses Olafur’s glacial piano and string work with Talos’ airy, emotive vocals. It’s part post-rock, part neoclassical, part electronic ballad — basically made for headphones and overthinking.
Not quite ambient, not quite pop, but floats beautifully between the two. If you liked Talos’ Dear Chaos or Olafur’s work on re:member, this one’s for you.
