UK first press 1978. Records EX. Sleeve has minor wear.
The late 70s masterpiece where Lou went full dark bard. Three-part title track with strings and spoken word that might be the bleakest thing he ever recorded, plus Berlin-level grim storytelling dressed up in raw street rock. Bruce Springsteen even sneaks in uncredited for a line, which is mad when you think about it. Sleazy, poetic, devastating - classic Lou in full razor-wire mode. FFO: Springsteen if he’d slept in a squat, Leonard Cohen with worse intentions, punk-adjacent art rock for 3am souls.
