This is Radiohead taking Kid A for a walk down a darker side street and losing it on purpose. Jazz falling apart electronic bits muttering to themselves piano lines that sound haunted and songs that refuse to behave properly. Nothing here wants to be a hit and that’s exactly the point. It feels uneasy lopsided and quietly brilliant like it’s daring you to give it time. You don’t fall in love with this one immediately. It creeps up weeks later and suddenly you’re defending it like it’s your favourite child. Weird moody and endlessly replayable. Class.
