Late 80s China Crisis, leaning full tilt into slick pop territory. All shiny production, smooth vocals and choruses that sound like they were built for Top of the Pops and big perms. It’s very of its time, but that’s half the craic — put it on and you’re basically transported to a wine bar with a fake palm tree in the corner.
