UK first press 1969. No "Gand" mispell. Records play with a light crackle in places. Sleeve has heavier shelf wear and OG price sticker.
1969 and Floyd go full experimental. A double album split between live recordings (spaced-out, heavy and brilliant) and solo studio experiments from each member (weird, indulgent and sometimes genius, sometimes… not). It’s the band in transition, halfway between Syd’s psych-pop and the grand concepts to come. Essential if you like your prog a bit messy and unpredictable. FFO: echoing halls full of dry ice, prog lads let loose in the studio, and the strange charm of a band figuring itself out in public.
