The 2012 debut from the California quartet, steeped in bluesy hard rock and heavy 70s vibes. Big Zeppelin sized riffs, loose but muscular grooves and a raw, live in the room feel run through the whole set. There is a warmth to the recording that makes it feel like it could have been cut straight to tape in 1972, but the energy keeps it from being pure retro worship.
