UK first press 1979. Embossed Sleeve. Records play EX.
Released in 1979 and sprawling over two LPs, Tusk took the glossy perfection of Rumours and ran in the opposite direction. Lindsey Buckingham pushed for a rawer, more experimental approach, resulting in a set that swings from off kilter pop to shimmering ballads to loose, percussive jams. Tracks like Sara and Storms show the band’s soft side, while the title track and What Makes You Think You’re the One keep things restless. A strange, brilliant record that has only grown in reputation. FFO: Stevie Nicks, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, The Pretenders, Joni Mitchell
