Back when Liam Howlett was still half rave shaman, half angry teenager with an Atari, he dropped this monster. Dark, pounding, and about as subtle as a sledgehammer through a car stereo. Equal parts jungle chaos and proto-big beat stomp, with enough rave stabs to light up an aircraft hangar. Still one of their most lethal 12s, and proof that the early Prodigy could do euphoric and terrifying at the same time. FFO: Altern 8 if they’d found the bad pills, early XL white labels, jungle techno done in a shed, and anyone who’s ever hugged a speaker stack like it was their best mate.
