Recorded at the same sessions as Moon Beams but this one’s a bit more upbeat - or at least as upbeat as Bill Evans ever got. Lyrical piano, playful swing, and just enough melancholy to keep it classy. Basically jazz that smiles with a tear in its eye. FFO: Rain clearing just enough for a walk, your uncle who swears he’s “light on his feet,” swing that sneaks up on you, and anyone who thinks major chords are overrated.
