UK first press 1993. Record plays great with minor marks. Sleeve and inner EX with minor wear.
Blur properly finding their voice. Sharp, awkward, very British and quietly brilliant. This is the sound of them ditching the baggy hangover and locking into something smarter and more sardonic. Guitars jangle then bite, lyrics are observational in a painfully familiar way, and it all still feels weirdly modern. Not the obvious Blur pick but absolutely the one that rewards repeat listens. FFO Pulp early era, Suede, The Kinks influence, mid 90s UK guitar pop with opinions, songs about normal life done properly
