Proper early 90s Manchester curveball, dance grooves rubbing up against fuzzy guitars while everything feels slightly loose but completely locked at the same time. It’s baggy adjacent without being daft about it, smart, rhythmic, a bit trippy round the edges, like the indie kids found a sampler and decided to behave for five minutes before getting weird again.
