Peak sludge punk nonsense. Filthy riffs, blown out fuzz, zero interest in tidying anything up. This is Mudhoney leaning into the mess and sounding all the better for it. Funny, dumb, heavy, and oddly catchy, like garage rock dragged through a swamp and left there on purpose. If you like your rock music loud stupid and grinning at itself, this is essential. Still rips. Class. FFO Tad, early Nirvana, Melvins lighter moments, grunge when it was still filthy and fun
