This is heavy for reasons that go way beyond just the sound. Recorded in Palestine and you can feel that weight in it straight away. Voices, field recordings, bits of traditional instrumentation all woven into this dark, shifting thing that never really settles. Feels like grief, memory, place all tangled together. Not just abstract noise either, there’s real human presence in it the whole way through. Proper immersive, bit overwhelming at times, but it should be. Important record.
