New Gorillaz and it’s not chasing a big obvious single, which I respect. Bit moody, bit hazy, feels like it was made at stupid o’clock with a synth gently buzzing and nobody trying too hard. The hooks are still there because they can’t help themselves, but it’s more slow burn than chart bother. Proper stick it on, let it sink in, realise two days later you’re humming it in the shop while pricing records. Class. FFO: Blur, Massive Attack, Tame Impala, LCD Soundsystem
