This is not polite post rock. This thing is heavy. Big slow crawling riffs that feel like they’re being dragged through concrete. Proper droning slabs of guitar, everything turned up too loud, bits where the whole band just locks into one miserable crushing groove and sits on it for ages. You can hear the old DIY punk roots in it as well. Scrappy, loud, no interest in being tidy. Five old mates making a huge ugly wall of sound and it absolutely works.
