A decade on and this still hits like a heavy fog rolling straight through your chest. Huge shoegaze guitars, proper weight behind them, and melodies that feel resigned rather than dramatic. It is bleak but comforting, loud but inward looking, and emotionally blunt in a way that feels honest rather than try hard. This record soundtracked a lot of people quietly falling apart and quietly getting on with it. Time has only made it hit harder. Modern classic status fully earned. Very class.
