corto.alto hand designed slipmat 60 x 60cm foldout poster / lyric insert Screen printed PVC outer sleeve Limited pressing of 400 Glasgow jazz chaos merchant corto.alto is back, now on Ninja Tune and apparently trying to fit an entire festival, a basement session, a broken MPC, three brass sections and a very stylish panic attack into one record. Some Small Fortune pulls from jazz, hip hop, electronic, soul, funk, club music and whatever else Liam Shortall had lying around the studio at 2am. Wonky in the best way, stupidly talented, full of proper musicians doing frightening things without making it feel like homework. Basically Glasgow has produced another frighteningly good thing. Very annoying. Very class. FFO Ezra Collective, Kokoroko, Yussef Dayes, BadBadNotGood, Hiatus Kaiyote, Alfa Mist, Nubya Garcia, Oscar Jerome
