Penelope Isles return after a few years of life getting in the way and sound like they have come back slightly sunburnt, emotionally fragile and very good at guitars. Recorded live as a proper three piece, 3 is full of hazy harmonies, crashing drums, Brighton memories and songs that feel like somebody has slid a postcard under your door at 2am. Lovely stuff. Mildly devastating. FFO: Big Thief, Beach House, The Sundays, Aldous Harding, Slow Pulp, Yo La Tengo
