Sounds like they started this as a distraction and accidentally wrote a load of tunes. Proper high energy indie rock, riffs everywhere, hooks doing overtime. Bit scrappy, bit polished, knows exactly what it’s doing without pretending to be too serious. One of those ones that just flies past and you stick it straight back on.
