apparently “firing on all cylinders” and for once that’s not just label waffle. it’s tight, loud, still sounds like it’s about to fall apart but never does. couple of covers in there getting the usual CTMF treatment plus a load of new ones that all feel like they’ve been rattling round his head for 40 years. nothing polished, nothing fancy, just riffs, organ and billy doing his thing. still class.
