Avalon Emerson stepping out of the booth and into full band mode again. Still got that dance brain though. Loads of groove running through it. Breakbeats, big basslines, jangly guitars, synths everywhere. Feels like someone digging deep into that late 80s early 90s crossover zone where indie bands were nicking ideas from dance music and vice versa. Proper melodic songs but still built to move a room. Lovely strange little record.
