First press 2026.
Dave Stapleton stepping out with his first album under his own name in years and it’s a lovely shift into that beat led jazz world. Quiet Fire sits right where Rhodes, bass and drums lock into hypnotic little loops and everything slowly grows from there. Feels like a live band but with a producer’s head guiding it. Bits of synth haze, little samples drifting through, trumpet and sax popping up in the background. Proper late night record. Jazz, beats and atmosphere all tangled together.
