This is such a smart pairing it still feels unfair. Ghostface in full storyteller mode, sharp as ever, over live, smoky, cinematic production from BadBadNotGood. No cheap nostalgia beats. Proper dusty soul feel but played by an actual band who know what they’re doing. It sounds expensive. Dark little loops, basslines creeping about, strings coming in at just the right second. Ghost sounds locked in too. Focused. Hungry. One of those rap records you can stick on front to back without skipping about. Grown man hip hop but still gritty.
