This isn’t background ambience. This is proper deep listening. Three absolute heads, Kassel Jaeger, Stephan Mathieu and Akira Rabelais, building something that feels suspended in air. Crackle, drift, tiny fragments of melody appearing and disappearing like you imagined them. It’s glacial but not cold. More like standing somewhere high up and just letting the silence do the work. Ten years on and it still sounds ahead of half the ambient section. Not for multitasking. For switching off everything else.
