First press 2026.
This is pure atmosphere. Pedal steel and strings just drifting into each other, nothing rushed, nothing forced. It feels Nordic and dusty at the same time. Wide open spaces but also tiny details if you lean in. Not showy. Not busy. Just tone and patience and that slight ache that creeps in when a note hangs a bit longer than you expect. You don’t blast this. You let it breathe. FFO Daniel Lanois, Nils Økland, Chuck Johnson, Ry Cooder
