Not a polite debut in the slightest. Ten tracks, 37 minutes, absolute kitchen sink fuzz pop chaos. Big shameless melodies colliding with jagged guitars, thick rumbling bass, blown out sax, mangled synths and drums that flip from intricate to full sledgehammer without warning. Leah Stanhope swings from angelic to unhinged in a breath while the songs take sharp left turns just to keep themselves entertained. It feels live, frantic, colourful and slightly feral, which is exactly why it works. All ideas. No fear.
