The weird misunderstood one that makes way more sense now. Less chaos, more shadow. Synths creeping in, grooves looping patiently, Cedric sounding haunted rather than hysterical. It’s The Mars Volta turning inward instead of exploding outward and a lot of people bounced off it for that exact reason. Sit with it and it reveals itself slowly. Moody, strange, properly rewarding. Class if you meet it halfway.
