Blakey driving everyone like he is late for something important, horns going toe to toe, zero chill allowed. One of those Blue Note records that feels almost feral compared to the cooler stuff. Loud, fast, chaotic in the best possible way. Jazz for people who like their music to sound like it might fall apart at any second.
