Evan Dando back doing what he does best - sounding effortlessly hungover and somehow still charming about it. Love Chant is full of jangly guitars, bittersweet melodies, and that trademark half-smile melancholy that makes The Lemonheads so annoyingly loveable. Feels like bumping into an old mate who’s somehow still pulling off the same scruffy jumper twenty years later, and it still suits him.
