Another chapter in Gordon Chapman-Fox’s beautifully bleak synth documentary of suburban utopia gone wrong. Haunting arpeggios, brutalist drones, and melancholy nostalgia for roundabouts and civic fountains that never quite worked. It’s equal parts history lesson and daydream, the sound of grey skies, sodium lights and misplaced optimism.
