2025 press.
One of the most blissed-out entries in the entire Sun Ra discography. Originally released in 1979, this is Ra in deep electric dream mode — slower, spacier, more groove-driven than his wild free-jazz outings. Think synth float, velvety Fender Rhodes, shimmering horns, and a loose cosmic funk that drifts gently but purposefully. If Space Is the Place was the transmission, Sleeping Beauty is the dream you have after.
