2025 press.
The debut that kicked off two decades of eyeliner-stained singalongs and self-loathing with hooks. Goddamnit is scrappy, snotty, and full of heart — equal parts pop-punk energy and Midwestern misery. Matt Skiba's gravelly voice and darkly romantic lyrics already fully formed, with songs about drinking, heartbreak, and being a mess (but in a catchy way). Still hits, especially if you’re partial to black nail polish and shouting in basements.
