UK 1977 press. Record plays great. Sleeve has minor shelf wear. Reissue, Alternate Bowie Mix. Only the original UK edition and this version with the A1/B1 matrix have the proper Bowie mix of Search and Destroy without the rolled off bass.
1973 and Iggy & co. blow the doors off with one of the most feral records ever made. James Williamson’s guitars slash like broken glass, the mix is all chaos (cheers Bowie), and Iggy sounds like he’s leading a riot in your living room. Search and Destroy and Gimme Danger alone could fuel a thousand punk bands — the rest is just as unhinged. FFO: punk before punk had a name, rock ’n’ roll on the edge of collapse, and frontmen who sound like they might actually set themselves on fire.
