The one that broke pop music’s spirit in the best possible way. After It’s My Life made them famous, Talk Talk decided fame was for mugs and disappeared into a candlelit room to make this… thing. Not quite rock, not quite jazz, not quite anything - just six tracks of slow-motion heartbreak and divine noise. Sounds like someone recorded a religious experience through a fog machine.
