Guy Skornik’s Tusk is one of those slightly bonkers cult soundtrack things that only Finders Keepers would bother rescuing. Originally tied to Alejandro Jodorowsky’s surreal elephant film from the 80s and it absolutely sounds like it. Big dramatic orchestral bits, strange synth passages, odd little psychedelic moments that wander in and out like they’ve got lost. It’s lush, weird and completely its own thing. One of those records where you’re never entirely sure what’s about to happen next. FFO Alejandro Jodorowsky soundtracks, Ennio Morricone, François de Roubaix, library oddities
