Still one of the maddest release stories ever. Radiohead just casually dropping one of their best albums on the internet and saying “pay whatever you want”. Chaos. Anyway the actual record itself is ridiculous. Weird electronics, warm guitars, Thom Yorke sounding like he’s floating three inches above the floor. Nude is heartbreaking, Weird Fishes is pure hypnosis, and Reckoner might genuinely be one of the most beautiful things they’ve ever recorded.
