What is a Dinked Edition?

Dinked is a group of 30 independent record shops working together to do what record shops do best. Make a big fuss over records that deserve it.

It is fully owned and run by independent shops, not some giant company pretending to enjoy crate digging for the afternoon.

The idea is simple. A group of like minded shops with a similar ethos get together and curate exclusive editions of key new albums, classics and archival releases.

These are usually limited pressings with exclusive colours, extra bits, fancy packaging or other collector bait that makes you stare at the shelf for ten minutes before accepting your fate.

Basically, Dinked Editions are special versions of brilliant records, picked by actual record shops, for people who still get far too excited about this stuff.

Which is all of us, unfortunately.
